Harmony Cowl (Pattern)
This cowl design utilizes two motifs, the khrest (cross) and Derevo Zhyttya (Tree of Life), some of the “magical stitches” in Slavic folk customs. I chose these motifs to symbolize peace, harmony, renewal and abundance. Most of the design is worked through the back post to create a textured ribbing effect. This pattern is best for intermediate crocheters.
